About Cue Sports Yorkshire

Cue Sports Yorkshire Ltd was incorporated in September 2017 by Rebecca Kenna and her husband Ash Kenna, who both ran the shop alongside their full time jobs.

 

Rebecca, who has a passion for snooker started competing on the World Women’s snooker tour in 2016 and noticed there was nowhere local to find a new cue or even have her cue re-tipped and so Cue Sports Yorkshire was born.

 

Rebecca gained her WPBSA Level 2 coaching certificate in 2019 and due to the shops success, was able to leave her job as a personal trainer and run the shop full time, as well as offering snooker coaching in store. In 2022 Rebecca earned a place on the professional World Snooker Tour through competing on the World Women's Snooker tour so has since employed Jack (childhood friend of Ash & Rebecca) as the shop manager to look after the day-to-day running of the shop. Ash has a full time job in the chemical industry but he can still be seen working in the shop on Saturdays when the shop is busy.

 

In February 2025 due to the growing success of the shop and online store, Cue Sports Yorkshire moved into larger premises. This has enabled the store to house Rebecca's Star table, which she uses for in-house coaching and her own practice as well as a Chinese 8 Ball table, for the growing sport of Heyball.
